It's Here! It's Here!

Some time ago, we joined the Planet Penny Cotton Club (which can be viewed here) and put in our order for some lovely skeins of cottony happiness!  And guess what?!  It's here!  It's here!  The famous pink package  arrived in the mailbox today from all the way across 'the pond'.  I'm glad no ducks were in the way.  Anyway, you know what this means?  It is an omen.   Since it arrived on the Spring Equinox, as far as I'm concerned that's a better harbinger of spring than any old ground hog.  Thank you, Penny!  I can't wait to see what the Goatmother makes for me.

Ain't it purdy?

Dear Kelly,
All those colors! Looks like your bathroom wall. :)

Ooh, you got the 14-pack! I'm almost jealous, but not really. It will take me a while to work through my 13 skeins.

I can just picture you in a lacy crocheted capelet of many colours, Marigold - something feminine and fairy-tail-ish. (But perhaps the Goatmother will wish to crochet something for herself, like a rainbow squad of amigoatrumi.)

Dear Mrs. Micawber,
You will likely be through all your skeins and started on your next shipment before the Goatmother gets through with two or three skeins. :) Nonetheless, who knows what may be in the offing ... maybe a new collar, or perhaps a few of Penny's colorful mice. Those would be much better than what we already have in the barn.

I'm so glad the pink parcel has arrived safely. I love Mrs Micawber's idea of a capelet of many colours, but maybe a spring bonnet would be appropriate! (although it may look dangerously delicious!)

Between you and Mrs. Micawber, my heavens you girls are going to get me into trouble! I'm not allowed to buy any more until I finish some of what I've got. And you're making it seem like torture!!!

(Beautiful package; also anxious to see what you create with such lusciousness!)

The colors are exquisite; they look like a rainbow! Definitely spring inspired.

I wonder what the lean machine GM is going to make? This is exciting, the sky is the limit.

If the GM puts A LOT of effort in, I bet she can earn extra points. She could have a couple of burger and onion ring meals after a day of hard crocheting.

On second thought, the GM could make an assortment of outfits for Fireball. Poor guy wears nightgowns in public. Oh the shame!

Dear Penny,
So hard to say what might look enticing in the throws of hunger. At any rate, all those gay colors are making us all feel very springy, even if the weather isn't cooperating much. Thank you!

Dear Auntie,
Yes! Oh, so springy!!!

Dear Snowcatcher,
Well, yes, Mrs. Micawber and I are like those little angel on one shoulder and devil on the other shoulder. Although, unfortunately for you, you got two devils. :)

Dear J,
Hey, that's an idea. I'll tell the Goatmother that they give activity points for crocheting and she'll be crocheting so furiously I'm bound to get something out of it. Excellent idea. Maybe she'll make the Goatfather a snood.

There's a song on the tip of my tongue....I can remember singing it many moons ago, I have the tune, but the words escape me...

Such a dazzling goat of many colours, how I love my goat of many colours....it was red and yellow and pink and brown and......

D'you know it? Now it will be stuck in my head all day...I think a big poncho is called for.

Dear Faith,
Oh! I remember that song! You sing so well! (I have very good hearing...)

Dear Fleur,
I'm hoping for something for me, but the goatmother will probably decide on something else. Well, we'll see!
