More On Operation Marigold

Hey, Ho, all!  Just a short post to let you know that the ever talented Snowcatcher has published her post with her Operation Marigold pattern!  Like that of Mrs. Micawber, it is a simply awesome pattern!  Go and take a look here!  Better yet, try your hand and donate the results to someone in need!  Thank you a thousand times over Snowcatcher!  We are so very blessed to have these two ladies traveling with us on this arduous journey.

Now, then, stay tuned.  I'll be writing again very soon!  In the mean time, goat hugs to all!

It is indeed an awesome hat.

P.S. May I have a rain check on the goat hug? It's too hot here for hugging right now. (Over 100º today.)

P.P.S. Or may I just have some rain? We desperately need it.

:)

Dear Mrs. Micawber,
Well, okay. But you should know that a goat hug (unless given by an Alpine, in which case, you would not be happy) consists of a gentle pressing of the head against the objet de hug. Minimal heat transfer but maximum lovage.

Goat hugs to you too and your humans!

Perhaps this will finally give me the push to learn how to crochet something other than a straight line and make scarves. Or would a scarf be helpful? I've very good at scarves.
PS Am sending Mrs. Micawber some of our rain.

Goat hugs back at ya!!

Dear Millie,
Ah! Maximum lovage from the Saanen branch of the family. :) Thank you!

Dear Terry,
Go for it, girl!!! You can do it! I think a scarf would look good on me, but probably wouldn't do much for the Goatmother's lack of hair. :) I am sure that Mrs. Micawber will appreciate any rain you can spare. :) Blow hard or it won't make it to Wisconsin though.

Der Auntie,
Ain't it the truth, ain't it the truth? :)

Dear Queen Quattra,
Oh! More goat lovage from my distant relatives. :) Thank you!!!

I copied that pattern for my lady to crochet. Thank you! That will be a nice gift for someone special.

Dear Isobelle,
It is beautiful, isn't it? I think someone special will love it if you make it!

I'll have you know I've had nearly 900 hits so far... I hope that means 900 hats will soon be available to those in need of soft head coverings.

Marigold said...

Dear Snowcatcher,
Wow! And just, WOW!!!! Me too! 900 is unbelievable and think how many heads that may mean when you multiply them doing multiple hats! Yay!

Fun update. I've now had more than 2,000 hits. Fingers crossed those are more hats going out to wonderful humans like your Goatmother!
