World's Greatest Radiation Oncology Nurse

Well, now.   It has been quite some time since we have shown you any pictures.  It's about time.  That's all I have to say on that subject.

So, then, this is the World's Greatest Radiation Oncology nurse.  Doesn't she have a beautiful smile?  And she's funny, too.  That and expertise all rolled into one nice package.  Who could ask for more?  Unless, of course, Peanuts were to be involved.  Then mostly certainly we would ask for more.  I'm just sayin'...

That Goatmother is one lucky woman to have such a genuinely nice lady taking care of her.  And, by the way, she used to have Alpacas (the nurse, not the Goatmother. Because, let's face it, then she would have to be called the Alpacamother and we'd probably have to write a whole new blog.).  You know, Alpacas.  Those guys that are kind of half way between a llama and a goat?  That gives the nice nurse some marks in my book since Alpacas are kind of like goats.  Of course she would have had more marks if they had actually been goats, but I wouldn't, after all, want to be judgemental.

Anyway, yes, the World's Greatest Radiation Oncology nurse is indeed a nice person.  How do we know that?  "Fake people are only nice when it's convenient for them.  Genuinely nice people go out of their way to help others." - Unknown.

Yep.  Nice.

She does look very lovely indeed!

Alpacas eh? I'm never entirely sure if I know the difference between alpacas and llamas, is one related to a camel?

Yes! Nurses are some of the greatest people. The do what no one else would ever do, except your mother. Appreciate your nurse. Give her peanuts.;)

Hooray for your sweet and lovely World's Greatest Radiation Oncology Nurse!!!!

And hooray for the Goatmother, for having had her, to care for her.

Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"

Dear Millie,
Yep, that Goatmother is one lucky lady! Thank you for the well wishes. We are using them up left and right. :)

Dear Faith,
And very knowledgeable too! Those Alpacas and Llamas might be related to camels. The Llamas sure spit like a camel. How distasteful! Alpacas are smaller than Llamas, but look kind of the same. Not nearly as cute as a goat, if you ask me. :)

Dear Kelly,
Well said from one who knows! LOL! We DO appreciate her for sure! As do we all the wonderful nurses, technicians and doctors we've had. They are taking good care of our Goatmother so she can give us Peanuts. Although, I will have to think long and hard about sharing my Peanuts. Oh, okay. A few. I'll share a few.

Dear Auntie,
Yes! Lots of Hoorays in order here! Not to mention Hoorays for making it through week 4 and beginning week 5! :)

I'm so glad the Goatmother has all these wonderful, genuinely nice, people helping her get better! Are you sure you can't spare a peanut or two for the lovely nurse Marigold?

Yes! The Goatmother is Over the Hump!

The WGRON has a very lovely smile indeed. And if she used to have Alpacas, I wonder if she has any Alpaca yarn? :)

Tell the Goatmother to hang in there. Not long now....

Dear Candy,
Well, gosh darn. Okay. Maybe just one or two. :)

Dear Mrs. Micawber,
I suppose we ought to ask her if she still has any Alpaca yarn, eh? You never know. As for the Goatmother, yes! Over the hump and on the downhill side! Woo hoo!!!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Mrs. Micawber's question was my first thought, too! I'm so glad you have been surrounded by such warm and friendly people as you go through this.

Oh, and I just realized I never answered your camera questions... dumb blonde. That's all excuses I can muster...

Dear SnowCatcher,
Yes, we are glad to have such wonderful folks surrounding the Goatmother too! As for the other. You can always claim Chemo Brain. The Goatmother still does, even though she isn't on chemo anymore. :)

How wonderful that the Goatmother is nearing the end of treatments. Now, if you give her some peanuts make sure they are organic.

Dear BuffyBelle,
Yes, organic. I'll share what I can. But I do have to keep up my strength.
