Do you see this? He's in the barn already! The goatmother put that board below the gate to keep him from coming in. Like she thinks he's going to get hurt. What about us goats? Don't we matter? Do you see the look on my face? Someone HELP here, Pleeease!
That, my friends, is a look of shock and dismay. If you ask me, this whole 'herding' idea is getting quite out of hand. I heard tell that Quinn has already been seen herding a group of slugs. (What does one call a group of slugs? A 'herd' of slugs? A 'slew' of slugs?) Now that is something we have even more of than Mountain Beavers. In light of this fact, I suppose I'm forced to concede that it could prove to be a useful trait. Still, slugs? I hear one got out of line and he chewed it up. Ewwwwwww. Kind of gives a whole new meaning to the idea of 'escargot', N'est ce pas?

Dear Marigold,
where do find all these
critters? First those
beaver things , then a
batch of banana slugs. Now
a Quinn!
Well, I do indeed know about these canine critters. Would you believe de donna has two? Yes, Meco and Berkley! They are much
larger than Quinn too! They kinda stink.....always into stuff that is even worse than those slugs.
Whenever we go on a walk in the woods with de donna, those dang canines take up the rear as though they had to guard us! Geeze!!
The Dirty Sisters , Boogie and Bhohdi , ( Ober twins )
are always trying to smack the canines but they never get upset.....just back off a bit and wait till the Dirty Sisters cool off!
I guess the canines are pretty cool, thinking they are protecting us and such..... even if they do stink! I think you'll probably come to the same conclusion with regards to Quinn. Just let him think he's important and all that stuff. But, do draw the line if the Goatmother starts giving your peanuts to Quinn!!
