Sixty years ago a baby was born in a small town in Oklahoma. Little did the unsuspecting world know what had been unleashed upon it. Did I say sixty? The big 6 - 0???
Oy.
But it's okay. There is hope. I am living proof that Peanuts contain absolutely amazing age-defying properties. They're even better than Oil of Oylay. At any rate, do not fret, dear Goatmother. Dear Staples,
The Goatmother thanks you most sincerely! Is that wish from Albie and Helen too? :)
Dear MiMi,
The old ... uh ... er ... the Goatmother thanks you. :) Arrrrrrr!!
Yes, from Albie, Helen, and the rest of the farmyard - even Roger and his harem. There is now increased demand for peanuts here, since everyone read your post.
Dear Staples,
Thank you, Thank you, Albie, Helen, Roger and the harem, the swine contention, the turkey family and all the rest there!!!
A very happy and HEALTHY birthday to the Goatmother! Long may she dispense peanuts and trim hooves!
Well it just so happens I too know of someone celebrating a certain amazing day also! Me! Sept 6th, 1957 my day. I should of known Goatmother and I share a special day...she's a Queen also! Happy Birthday! I actually have a tshirt that says "The Queen". I think I'll start eating more peanuts too. Your living proof its working!
Happy peanut birthday to you, happy peanut birthday to you! Happy peanut birthday dear Goatmother of jumping goats, happy peanut birthday to you!
Dear Mrs. Micawber,
Wait just a ding-dang minute! I'm okay with that first part, but let's not get carried away with that second part, okay? Oy.
Dear DebH,
No kidding??!!!! Now how cool is that???? You know the Goatmother went her whole life up until 2004, when she moved here, and never met anyone with the same birthday. Since then, though, she has found a bunch of special people with the same day. Who knew? Happy, Happy Birthday to you and we will eat lots of Peanuts in your honor!
Dear SnowCatcher,
The Goatmother thanks you so much for the wishes! Now then, I have to tell you. I can jump like those mountain sheep on your blog. I just keep it to myself because, well, I don't want to outshine anyone. The Goatmother tries to jump like that, but she isn't all that good at it. Still, I've seen her do some pretty amazing leaps on occassion trying to get us into the barn, so I wouldn't want to sell her short. :)
Penblwydd hapus i ti!
A very happy birthday indeed to the goatmother from us lot in Wales!
Yikes, I missed your Birthday! Happy Birthday wishes, belatedly.
60? Just 60? Hey, that hardly "olden" at all. :-) I'm 15 years beyond you. Not THAT is "Olden"! :-)
Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"
Dear Faith,
The Goatmother thanks you most sincerely! Me? I want to know how the hay you pronounce that lot??? :)
Dear Auntie,
The Goatmother says to tell you that you and she will just have to have the birthdays from now on, but conveniently forget which ones they are. :) Thank you for the wishes!!!!
