Playing

You may recall that last year, before she was so rudely interrupted, the Goatmother had gotten a new camera.  Of course, things being as they were, playing with the new camera got put on a shelf.  Well, guess what?  She's finally blown the dust off !

"Excuse me.  In-com-ing!"
"Say what?!"

"I said, 'Clear a path!  I'm comin' in!"
"Pull up!  Pull up!  You're gonna' land right on me!  I'm very delicate, you know."

"Ahhhhh.  That's more like it.  Free and clear."

Okay, not perfect.  And she certainly has a loooong way to go to catch up with the SnowCatcher.   Or Teresa over at Eden Hills...
BUT ... the journey of 1,000 miles begins with but a single step.  Right?.

Right!

It looks like you haven't just taken a small step, but a great blinkin' leap....go you!

Great pics, not in your garden?

Dear Faith,
The Goatmother is laughing uproariously at 'not in your garden', simply because it is difficult to even walk in the garden at present. LOL! She thanks you for the compliment, but she says, and I quote, "Thank God the camera is smarter than I am!" :) Anyway, the pictures were taken where the hummingbird feeder is, which is outside the kitchen window. :)

Whoa. Goatmother's camera is smarter than mine. Those are amazing.

Dear Tyche's Minder,
It is a darned good thing the camera is so smart...I can tell you. Did I say the Goatmother is the Nubian of Goatmother's? Here's a clue...she used to be blonde. :)

My human is very jealous. She says those are amazing pictures. She also things you should pose, so we can see a new picture of you.

Dear Millie,
You are absolutely correct. That Goatmother has neglected taking my picture for some time. What is this world coming to?

WOWIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you're doing just fine! Mighty fine camera you have there!

Dear SnowCatcher,
High praise coming from you! Thank you! Of course you realize how difficult it will be to live with the Goatmother now. :)

Wow, those photos are amazing! And the dialogue is pretty good too. :)

I hope the Goatmother enjoys her playtime and shares some more photos very soon.

Dear Mrs. Micawber,
Well, I'll bet she does. Maybe she'll learn something. We can hope. :)

Those are awesome pictures! The Goatmother has a good eye for photography! :)

Dear Candy,
The Goatmother says 'thank you!'. However, she can't come close to what you do. Well, it gives her something to aspire to anyway (and keeps her out of our hair and off the streets.)

They're beautiful! There are large painted lady butterflies (I think), here, that are attracted to and feed in the mucky area where the ducks are.

Dear Missy,
They are beautiful, huh? Maybe the Goatmother will quit messing around trying to catch up from her year *out* someday and take some more pictures. :)
